Find your confidence in a welcoming environment

Northavon Speakers' Club is a fun, friendly public speaking club. We usually meet the first and third Thursday of the month.

Guests are welcome to attend two meetings for free.

Regular club meetings consist of prepared speeches, speech evaluations and 'table topics' - a chance to practice impromptu speaking.

Northavon Speakers' Club is affiliated with Toastmasters International, which has a proven success rate in helping people to develop public speaking, presentation and leadership skills through its worldwide network of clubs.

Why join a public speaking club?

  • To overcome a fear of public speaking and build confidence when presenting to an audience.
  • To prepare for a specific event such as a wedding speech or an important presentation.
  • To develop effective communication and leadership skills that are valuable in many areas of life.
  • To meet new and interesting people and develop contacts.

How do I find out more?

The best way to find out if Northavon Speakers' Club is right for you is to come along to one of our meetings. Guests are always very welcome and chances are you won’t be the only new face.

You won’t be expected to do a speech but there will be opportunities to do a mini practice in front of a crowd.

If you have any questions or would like to attend a meeting, email us at northavontm@gmail.com.
